Why Am I Housesitting?
Shazam! I’m a housesitter! That’s exactly how it all started last July after I sold my home. My daughter’s friend needed a reliable person to stay at her house while her family traveled to Brazil. I enjoyed working in her yard and garden, and in the process, I met other homeowners who shared my love of caring for their spaces. Conversations turned into more requests, and before I knew it, each sit was opening doors to the next.
I even traveled to Albuquerque to care for two beautiful, rambunctious felines whose parent buddies are traveling professional musicians. Right now, I’m in “First Date” Joey’s home—Joey being a sweet pup with dementia who wakes up every day as if we’re meeting for the first time. His parent buddies are off enjoying some sun, and I’m here making sure their lovely Queen Anne home is well cared for.
It’s clear there’s a need for reliable home and pet care in the Seattle area, and I’m having fun being of service. I respect how uniquely people shape their spaces—the layouts they create, the treasures they collect, the little details that make a house feel like a home. I enjoy tending to their gardens, and, of course, making new pet friends. It’s all good, and I’m good at it!
Having had many homes and rentals over the years, I deeply believe your home should be treated with the same care and respect as my own—maybe even better!
